I hit my emotional stride in my fifties. Looking back, I wish I had someone in my 30’s and 40’s to come alongside me and share insight. I wish I knew how a gentle soul could have simple, gentle boundaries
One of my biggest challenges to overcome was finding someone I could trust to really help me. I needed someone who spoke my "language" and fully grasped my struggle as a person with strong faith and a sure hope. On top of that, since I have strong faith and sure hope, I judged myself for even needing outside help
